Erika Fay Nicole
Brand Journalist, PR & Communication Consultant
Erika Fay Nicole holds degrees in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Brussels and in Media Relations from Rome. She began her career with the World Food Programme (WFP) and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations.
She later moved to New York, where she worked at the United Nations, developing an innovative communication program for the Department of Public Information.
In 2016, she returned to Italy and launched an original video interview format dedicated to the world of food & wine and luxury hospitality, combining her personal passions with her professional vision. Her creativity led her to co-create and host the national TV program Venice is Cooking, broadcast on Italia 7Gold in collaboration with Le Guide de L’Espresso.
After becoming a journalist, she chose to specialize in brand journalism, blending the language and tools of journalism with strategic brand positioning and storytelling.
In 2020, she founded EFNcommunication, a brand journalism agency specializing in strategic consulting for luxury brands in the hospitality, food & beverage, and lifestyle sectors.
Since 2024, she has been living in the United Arab Emirates, where she continues to work internationally with a special focus on the Middle Eastern market, one of the most dynamic and rapidly growing in the global luxury landscape.
Erika Fay Nicole has been working on several media and communication projects for VERTU Hospitality. She was a member of the jury for the 2024 Best Luxury Hotel Awards and will continue in this role in 2025.
