  • Gérald Lampaert, the Owner, Founder, and CEO of VERTU Hospitality, brings a rich background in luxury hospitality. Born in Brussels in 1970 to a Belgian-Swiss heritage, he cultivated an international perspective through multilingualism and global work experiences.

    His journey began in 1992 at the Walt Disney Company, where he held diverse roles across hotel operations, sales, marketing, event organization, and digital information management. This tenure instilled in him the value of fostering a culture, vision, and quality structure while prioritizing exceptional outcomes.

    Later, he collaborated with Florida's A&L Associates on initiatives like overseeing Hard Rock Café Europe's service quality. Following this, he served as a regional director for continental Europe at Millenium & Copthorne hotels, among other significant roles in prestigious establishments.

    In 2002, he launched Luxury Communication in Paris, concurrently holding key Vice President positions with esteemed international groups based in New York and Houston, such as Dolce International and Benchmark Hospitality.

    Gérald later moved to Zurich where he created Luxcom GmH and VERTU Hospitality.

  • Philippe Attia, President overseeing Managed Hotels Operations, boasts extensive senior management experience in global hospitality and leisure. With a rich background encompassing high-end establishments such as Dolce Hotels & Resorts, Occidental Hotels & Resorts, and The Walt Disney Company, he excels in guest experience management, luxury hotel operations, and resort development.

    Attia's expertise extends to various facets of the industry, including spa destinations, MICE business, and upscale hotel openings across Europe and the US. Holding an MBA and CHA certification, he brings a wealth of knowledge and industry leadership. As a board director at the IACC and former CEO of Glion Institute of Higher Education, Switzerland, Attia demonstrates a commitment to industry advancement and international development.

    Philippe Attia worked in 12 different countries and held several hospitality leadership positions such as, General Manager, Managing Director, Regional Director, Senior Vice-President and CEO. In his previous position for Dolce Hotels and Resorts as Senior Vice President Development for EMEA, and as Senior Vice President of Operations Europe, Philippe Attia was responsible for the operations of the Hotels & Resorts in Europe, and the company’s regional corporate office in Paris.

  • Eva is a serial entrepreneur and a Business Leader with more than 20 years of successful experience in Brand & Marketing Strategy and Communication, Business Development, Sales, Retail Marketing and Innovation Strategy.

    Eva is the Founder of Eva P & Associates, a Boutique consultancy aimed to support C-suites in building the best Strategy for their Business, Brand and Marketing, and CEO and co-founding partner of Delita, a company producing and selling Italian gourmet ready meals.

    Eva served in various leading roles in Nestlé Nespresso, as International Retail Marketing Manager, Commercial & Marketing Director, where she gained a strong expertise in Business and Sales development and International Marketing and Retail. She led very important global projects, as the successful worldwide launch of the Nespresso New Boutique Concept across more than 600 boutiques worldwide.

    As Marketing Director for Nespresso UK she developed her Expertise in Marketing & Digital Strategy and Planning as well as the orchestration of truly successful Omnichannel Marketing Strategies.

    Eva has a multifaceted and global experience that has allowed her to act as advisor for several Luxury, Premium and FMCG Companies operating in various categories, from Cosmetics to architectural design, Real Estate investments, Coffee. Some of the Brands Eva worked with are L’Oreal Lux, Galderma, Salesforce, Caffitaly, 2.0 & Partners, CD10, Niva, Vexeva amongst the others.

    As Marketing Expert, Eva received the fellowship of CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing) and is actively mentoring within the CIM organization.

    Born in Italy, Eva now resides in London and speaks fluent English and French.

  • Madeleine Goldman (Weekley), President of Madweek Marketing, boasts over two decades of executive experience in marketing, advertising, and public relations within the hospitality industry. Notably, she spent 15 years at Caesars Entertainment (formerly Harrah’s Entertainment) in Las Vegas, NV, culminating in her role as Corporate Director of Brand Marketing. Later, she served as Executive Director of Brand Marketing at Wynn Resorts, honing her skills in luxury brand marketing. In 2014, she founded Madweek Marketing, specializing in customized solutions for marketing, branding, and communications.

  • Cyril Wigniolle brings over 20 years of diverse professional experience to his role at VERTU Hospitality. His career includes pivotal roles in event and business tourism agencies, where he implemented commercial strategies to expand customer portfolios. Within the hotel industry, including the Accor group, Cyril excelled in global sales development and served as Director of Sales for flagship hotels with extensive conference center facilities.

    Transitioning to entrepreneurship in 2010, Cyril founded his own company specializing in events and business development for the hospitality sector. He possesses extensive expertise in the "MICE" market and business hotels, consistently exceeding ambitious sales targets. Over the past decade, he has collaborated with esteemed international groups such as Banyan Tree, Disneyland Paris, and Sandals Hotels.

  • With over two decades of experience in the hospitality industry across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, Cristina has established herself as a leader in revenue optimization and sales platform development for global and regional multi-brand groups. Her journey began as a sales executive for Le Meridien Hotels in Paris, followed by roles at Hilton Paris hotels and Radisson Hotels, where she led sales and meetings & events departments for an airport hotel.

    Relocating to Dubai in the early 2000s, Cristina delved into revenue management at Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Media City, eventually rising to Regional Director of Revenue Optimization overseeing thirty properties in the Middle East. She then transitioned to leading sales, revenue, distribution, and digital marketing teams at HMH Hospitality Management Holdings.

  • David, a Belgian national has amassed over two decades of experience in the hospitality industry. He began his career in 1999, holding positions such as Night Manager and IT Coordinator at leading hotel chains like Starwood and Radisson Hotel Group.

    In 2007, David joined Dolce La Hulpe Brussels as IT Manager, where he oversaw budgeting, vendor management, and the installation of software and hardware. He was later promoted to Regional Director IT for all managed hotels in Europe for Dolce Hotels & Resorts, a role he held until mid-2016. Subsequently, he served as Regional Director IT Europe for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, overseeing a significant portfolio of properties and leading major projects in CRS integration and PMS system interfacing. Throughout his career, David has excelled in vendor management, capital planning, and team motivation, ensuring the highest levels of job satisfaction and operational excellence.

  • Pau, originally from Barcelona, boasts over 20 years of experience in the industry. He began his career by consulting for numerous Spanish companies in IT and Business Processes Reengineering, holding prestigious positions such as Director of Project.

    Transitioning into the hospitality sector, Pau spent 5 years as the IT Manager at Dolce Hotel Sitges. In this role, he was responsible for defining budgets, managing providers and purchases, overseeing software and equipment installations, and maintaining various IT systems including wired and wireless networks, servers, workstations, and phone systems.

    Recognizing his expertise, the Province of Barcelona Local Government appointed Pau to oversee IT for their Accounting Department, further highlighting his reputation and capabilities in the field.

  • Bianca Cuperus, a seasoned sales consultant and hospitality expert with over 25 years of experience, enhances hotel performance.

    With a background at prestigious establishments like Walt Disney World, Disneyland Paris, Hilton, and Golden Tulip, she offers expertise in sales, training, and guest experience enhancement.

    Bianca focuses on increasing occupancy rates, room prices, and revenue through strategic sales and marketing approaches tailored to each hotel's needs.

  • Kasper, from Copenhagen, boasts an impressive 25-year career in the hospitality industry, specializing in fine dining.

    His journey includes stints at renowned Michelin-starred restaurants such as Ducasse in Paris, Jean-Georges in New York, Don Alfonso in Naples, and Mikuni in Tokyo.

    At the youthful age of 27, Kasper assumed the role of executive chef at Domain Scholteshof, a boutique hotel and restaurant in Belgium, showcasing his exceptional culinary talent and leadership abilities.

    Continuing his culinary odyssey, Kasper ascended to the position of Culinary Director, spearheading the opening of more than 15 restaurants and cafés across Europe and the Middle East. He prides himself on developing innovative concepts that captivate both teams and customers, fostering engaging experiences.

  • Joseph, armed with degrees in Sound Engineering and Economics, began his career in the Professional Audiovisual (Pro AV) industry.

    He held various roles, including Account Manager and Sales Manager, with leading companies in Pro AV, telecommunications, and hospitality TV-IPTV solutions.

    With over 22 years of experience, he brings extensive expertise to his new role as a consultant with VERTU Hospitality, where he focuses on enhancing customer experience and operations. Joseph's dedication to finding optimal solutions and passion for continuous learning drives his success in the industry.

  • Laurent de Broca, a dynamic photographer, embarked on his career fifteen years ago with a focus on photo coverage. His talent quickly gained recognition, leading to exhibitions at prestigious galleries such as Heartgallery and VogueArt.

    Despite starting with economics studies and a professional detour, Laurent's passion for photography prevailed. He honed his skills through apprenticeships in still life and fashion, refining his craft at renowned institutions like Gobelin l’école de l’image in Paris.

    Currently based in Paris and Brussels, Laurent specializes in fashion, still life, architecture, and reportage coverage for esteemed brands and advertising agencies such as Vuitton, Nespresso, and Publicis.

  • Vincent Ghobert, a Belgian music composer and producer, made his mark at the age of 19 with a contract from Philips label. His success led to collaborations with renowned labels such as WEA, PolyGram, and Universal. Since 1987, he has also composed soundtracks for cinema and advertising through his company, Concept Music Production.

    In 2018, Vincent embarked on a new venture with Vertu Hotels and Resorts, creating music tracks tailored to various areas within their properties. This opportunity allows him to apply his musical expertise in a revolutionary way to the hospitality industry, showcasing his talent and versatility once again

  • Spark, a Franco-Belgian visual artist, began his career in the internet industry in Paris before transitioning to professional artistry at 30.

    Trained at the Ecole Nationale des Beaux Arts in Paris, Spark's work is a fusion of street art and pop art, drawing inspiration from art history, popular culture, and youth subcultures. His pieces often incorporate elements from renowned artists like Lichtenstein, Warhol, and Basquiat, alongside references to song lyrics, brand logos, and comic book characters. Spark's style is characterized by a juxtaposition of comic book imagery, leading towards abstraction. Influenced by artists like Erro and Sigmar Polke, he pays homage to designer Philippe Starck by adopting the name Spark

  • Nicolas Besse, a seasoned executive in the hospitality industry, boasts nearly three decades of international leadership spanning Commercial, General Management, and Operations roles. With expertise in Electronic Distribution and Digital Strategy, he most recently served as the Director of Chain & Partner Management for the HRS group, where he oversaw global hotel key account management and interface optimization, managing relationships with over 575,000 hotel partners across 190 countries.

    Prior to this, Nicolas held the position of Vice President of Sales and Distribution for the Sofitel brand within the Accor Group, focusing on luxury hotel repositioning. His career at Accor began in 2001, where he played a pivotal role in the creation and launch of Andbook.com before leading the group's internet distribution department.

    Nicolas's journey began at the Lausanne Hotel Management School, followed by roles at prestigious establishments such as the Boca Raton resort and club and Disneyland Paris.

  • Pete made his mark in broadcasting as the inaugural Breakfast Show presenter on Radio London, which quickly gained a massive audience across Europe. Transitioning to BBC Radio 1, he hosted a prominent afternoon slot and later became one of the original presenters on Thames TV's Magpie.

    In 1974, Pete ventured into the conference and meetings industry after producing a national roadshow for Dick James Music featuring Elton John. This led to a successful freelance career as a broadcaster and conference producer, serving major companies like Cadbury Schweppes and Rolls-Royce.

    In 1991, Pete's success in launching the Rover 600 prompted the formation of Clearwater Communications, which enjoyed a fruitful relationship with Rover Cars and expanded its client base to include major companies like BP and Intel.

    After selling Clearwater Communications in 2000, Pete focused on developing BusinessMeetings.com and became an active member of MPI, serving as President of the UK Chapter from 2005 to 2006.

  • Jan Janssen is a seasoned advisor in the hospitality industry, boasting over 35 years of experience across various domains including concepts and design, project management, interim management, dealsourcing, and strategic partnerships. Renowned for his strategic vision and innovative thinking, Jan has played a pivotal role in driving the acquisition and development of hotels across Europe for three international hotel brands.

    Jan's expertise extends to strategic development planning and meticulous project management, where he conducts thorough architectural and functional reviews to optimize operational efficiency and guest satisfaction. His ability to forge strategic partnerships through joint ventures, management contracts, and franchise license agreements has significantly contributed to the success of numerous ventures, enhancing market competitiveness and driving growth.

    With an extensive network of business contacts and a keen eye for emerging trends, Jan remains dedicated to driving excellence in the hospitality industry. His track record of successfully navigating complex management agreements and negotiating agreements between partners underscores his prowess in dealmaking and strategic negotiation, making him a highly respected figure in the industry.
